Rachel Daly began the Summer Hornithology Ensemble as a way for her private students and other area horn students to continue to rehearse during the summer in a high quality low cost program. Desiring to expose her students to professional horn players, she began the year-round Hornithology Ensemble for professional French Horn players. Rachel is passionate about the need for musical education both in and out of school and that has lead to Hornithology Ensemble offering a host of educational programs and concerts at venues throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
